Hacking Modern Life LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Teleskopiq application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Google User Data

When you choose to authenticate with Google or link your YouTube account, we collect the following data provided by you:

  • Profile Information: Name, email address, and profile picture.
  • YouTube Channel Data: Channel ID, title, description, and subscriber counts.
  • Video Content: Video titles, descriptions, and captions (transcripts) for videos you select or recent uploads.
  • Authentication Tokens: OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens (stored securely and encrypted).

Content Production Data

We store the ideas, scripts, production notes, and generated assets you create in Teleskopiq so you can develop and produce videos in one workspace.

We may also store channel-shared memories distilled from completed writing conversations, such as recurring audience assumptions, editorial preferences, and brand rules. Channel members can review and manage these memories in the Style Profile area.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the Google user data we collect for the following specific purposes:

  • Service Provision: To create your account, log you in, and verify your identity.
  • Style Analysis: We analyze your YouTube video transcripts to generate a unique "Style Profile" (vocabulary, tone, pacing) which is used to help you write future scripts.
  • Content Management: To display your recent videos and channel statistics within the App dashboard.
  • Teleprompter Functionality: To save and retrieve your scripts for use in the recording interface.
  • Writing Personalization: To remember durable channel preferences and apply them to future writing requests.

We do NOT use your data for:

  • Targeted advertising or personalized ads.
  • Selling to data brokers or information resellers.
  • Determining credit-worthiness or lending purposes.
  • Training third-party AI models (other than generating your specific content).

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not transfer or disclose your personal information or Google user data to third parties for purposes other than providing or improving the App's functionality.

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data with trusted third-party service providers solely to help us operate the App, such as:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform / Firebase (for hosting, database, and authentication).
  • AI Processing: Google Gemini API (for generating scripts and analysis). Data sent is ephemeral and subject to Google's enterprise data privacy commitments.
  • Agent Memory: Google Cloud Agent Platform Memory Bank (for retaining channel-scoped writing preferences).

4. Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Teleskopiq's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

  • Retention: We store your profile and style data while your account is active. Authentication tokens are stored until you disconnect the integration. Channel memories have a default 365-day retention period, which may be renewed when a memory is updated.
  • Channel Memory Deletion: Channel members can delete individual memories or clear the channel's memory in the Style Profile area. Deleting a channel also deletes its external memory scope.
  • Other Deletion Requests: Contact us to request deletion of other account data. Available deletion options depend on the data and workspace ownership involved.

You can also revoke Teleskopiq's access to your data via the Google Security Settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).

6. Security

We are committed to protecting your data. We use industry-standard security measures, including:

  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest in our databases.
  • Access Control: Strict access controls limit internal access to user data.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
